Guy Helmer is a senior lecturer of information systems in the Iowa State University College of Business and distinguished engineer at Absolute Software. Guy lectures on topics of software development, networking, and information security. He develops data security systems across multiple platforms. He received his PhD. in computer science from Iowa State University where he researched network security, high-performance computation, artificial intelligence, and computer architecture.
